June 19, 2015: Circuit, Work It!

This is a workout that will be sure to get your heart rate up.  The various exercises target the whole body and it is done at a quick pace.

The barbell complex is completed without setting the weight down.  Complete each exercise for the set number of reps, back to back, and then take a short rest.  I time my rest periods so I don’t let my heart rate drop too much. This workout was completed in less than 1 hour, but burns a ton of calories!

Barbell Complex

Row

Squat press

alt. Reverse lunge

OH press

Push up

20, 16, 12, 8

 

Barbell High Pull (Sumo Squat + Upright Row) x20

Man makers x10

x3 sets

Sprints

Stability Ball Roll In

Alternating Jackknife Sit Ups

3 x 45 seconds each exercise
