PB Crave Review + GIVEAWAY!

PB Crave Review + GIVEAWAY!

Don’t forget to enter the PB Crave Giveaway at the bottom of this post!!! :)

From the PB Crave Website:

Made with only the finest, natural peanut butter, honey and mouth-watering flavor favorites, PB Crave spreads excitement with every bite.

We use high-quality ingredients, proven processes and cutting-edge innovation to craft dizzying blends of unique flavors that transform everyday taste into a tantalizing, healthy treat.

Before I try a new product, I usually check out the nutrition label. I am just curious to see what the ingredients are and what the label reads.

All of the PB Crave varieties are said to be all natural peanut butter made with clean and healthy ingredients. Looking at each of the labels, you will find that they have flavorings mixed into them to create flavors like cookie dough, raspberry and banana. I am not a fan of the extensive list of ingredients, but I do like that the varieties do not contain Hydrogenated Oils!

What makes this peanut butter pretty amazing is that PB Crave benefits the Peanut Butter Project. They donate 2% of the profit from every jar to this organization – that is neat!

Ok, so lets check out the flavors!

PB Crave comes in four different and unique flavors listed below. Overall, they are tasty and would pair great with just about anything. The oils do separate, so you have to give the jar a good stir before tasting.. Unless you like big spoonfuls of oil. I don’t, so I decided to stir it around a bit. Once combined, the peanut butter is insanely smooth and creamy!

Peanut butter, honey, chocolate – yum! Upon opening the jar, I noticed that this peanut butter separated quite a bit, so I gave it a stir to incorporate the oils that separated. The flavor is very sweet and chocolatey – perfect for the chocolate lover. It would be delicious on toast, drizzled over pancakes, and even smothered all over a Quest Bar…because…why not?!

It is a decadent flavor, but not as rich and chocolatey as Nutella. If you are a lover of all things Nutella, then this flavor may not be up to par for your taste buds.

Razzle Dazzle:

This jar is a blend of “natural” raspberry flavoring, honey, white chocolate, and of course, quality peanuts! I love the sweetness of white chocolate (although it is far from natural and nutritious by any means), so I do like the sweet tang of this peanut butter.

CoCo Bananas:

This flavor is a mixture of banana flavoring, cocoa, honey, and peanuts. Immediately, you can tell there is an artificial banana flavoring in there. It tastes a bit strong and fake, but the combination of chocolate peanut butter and bananas was not so bad. It bakes well, preserving the banana flavor. I made some cookies with this one and did not need to add much sweetener or additional flavors. Overall, it was my least favorite, but I am also not a huge fan of bananas.

Cookie Nookie:

Chocolate chips, cookie dough flavor, honey, and peanut butter – yum, sounds delectable! With all of the cookie dough flavored things on the market, I was sort of expecting some chunks of dough in my jar. I know of some Nut Butter companies that will put chunks of cookie dough right into the mixture and it just works! I do not like the idea of “cookie dough flavoring”. I mean, how do you create that? I wonder what goes into it. Otherwise, this is a sweet and chocolatey flavor, with tiny hints of chocolate chips in it.

Some of the newer, specialty peanut butter varieties can only be found online, but what’s great about PB Crave, is that you can get it at World Market and some other major grocery chains in the US! Here in California, Wal-Mart carries it!

If your opposed to going into Wal-Mart like I am sometimes, then you can order from the comfort of your living room.

Now, go get yourself some PB Crave so you can experience the rich and creamy goodness of an artisan peanut butter!
